We are presenting our process, methods, and systems how do we develop the websites for our Clients.
First of all, you will find multiple tutorials and articles online how to make a webpage. After reading this article, you will notice what is actually missing in most of the articles, also you will understand the of the web ecosystem, and web development/design better. Most of us are focused on process, very few are talking about the main purpose of your Website.
This is why we are different, we hope by reading this article, we will help you understand and recognized the difference.

The purpose of your website is to effectively run your online Business. What do we mean effective?
A process of creating Website is just one of the segment. Strategy, planning, and integration in the WWW are key factors to present your business to new clients and to strength the bond with current one.

Today we have over one billion web pages. Some of them are the best-looking websites ever created, but with no traffic. At the same time, we have boxed up web page with high traffic. No one can ignore this fact and we are all aware that traffic is one of the most important thing in every online business.

Practically if you have a great marketing, and no traffic, it’s like having a video commercial without being advertised.
This happened to many of us, no one explained how does WEB actually works, and what are the most important things to do. Hope it’s now clear why 30min website or 10$ web page will never be competitive on WWW.
With every project we are aiming to have a great website and to increase the traffic on it, this is the only way that our customers will be happy.

We will try to shape up our presentation on the way to not upset anyone, but at the same time to help you understand the idea of WEB design, development, and marketing.

First of all, the purpose of the website needs to lead the process. This is really important, otherwise jumping straight into the process will eliminate some of the crucial segments.

Starting point.

Our starting point will be to collect the most of the information about our client, work, and personality etc.. Asking right questions.
– Brand Attributes
– User Profiles
– Goals
– etc…

We will start with basic analysis. Practically in this phase, we are looking at your main competitors (weaknesses and strengths), to find the best strategic approach how to put you on the top. There is a difference in the process for a search engine when starting a new project or redesigning an existing one. It will take some time to start the “big clash” in search engine with your competitors, “page rank”.

The budget for the project, we are aware that no one today has an unlimited budget. But at the same time, we need to be rationale and invest the funds in the critical segments. Example, GOALS/SEO/SITEMAP/USER EXPERIENCE/ DESIGN/ DEVELOPMENT etc… Yes, we can leave some segments for later development or upgrade, but definitely not the infrastructure of the website.

Brand Attributes

Goals, Brand Attributes, Users Profiles and content for the website. Now we will start with the overall content. Our main goal is focused on finding the best keywords, this will secure your website future integration. Ranking your page, actually your business, in all major search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing are of great importance. For some of you, this will not be so clear and reasonable, why this step needs to be one of the first ones on the list. If we ignore this step, later on, we will be forced to return back. It will require many changes and modifications. Remember, to be seen and noticed, is the most important aspect, to have the right keywords, to drive the traffic to your new or redesigned website. This definitely needs to be one of the top priorities. Find more about Organic SEO in our Blog.

Site Map, User Interface, and User Experience.

Site Map UI and UX will partially drive our design. To design and organize all of the information, we start by sorting out informations into categories. By taking this step, you can rearrange and prioritize your content before the writing begins. Most of the users today look for the instant answers with short descriptions, besides it, we will need to have in-depth explanations to bring our product or service closer to our consumers. If our UX and UI is not adapted for human cognitive functioning, we might lose some visitors (they can get confused and lost on Website).  The user will need to find instant answers or using shortest path, to find what they actually need. This is why we put the UX/UI prior to actual Design. With idea is that users/visitors are driving our business, and we need to take care of them from many different prospectives.
Each section in your site needs to tell a story. It needs a reason and a final outcome for the user. The layout needs to help the content highlighting what are the most important pieces in that story.

Design and Functionality. The design of website needs to be for the long term (as possible), at the same time, needs to have a style what will align with the product or provided service. Everything from your logo to your tagline, voice, message, storyline, product/service, and personality should be presented with the best possible design. Writing for Humans and Search engine at the same time, using “semantic keywords” you can develop a variety of words that provide the same meaning around your core keywords. Design needs to be simple and attractive (too simplified things with a style requires a lot of tweaking and adjustments). We will need to find the suitable fonts, colors, layouts and everything else that presents fundamental’s of Website design. As designers we shape the way users browse the internet, it’s up to us to decide how many steps a simple action will take, and how efficient our site will be.

Development of Website is the necessary part where everything needs to come together. Using the latest standards and methods to code and develop the entire Website. The project needs to look and have the layout as we design it. Developing Website needs to meet all the requirements by our standards, needs to be interactive, mobile-friendly, stable and durable/secure, also to be adjusted for many different browsers and screen sizes. The functionality of website needs to be balanced, not with too many unnecessary scripts, but at the same time, not to compromise design, positive impressions etc.. Some scripts can slow down the page loading and overall speed of the website, it’s necessary to find the perfect balance of design and functionality. Connecting the most of the social media with your website.

Evaluate the Website, Once we build the website, we walk away from it for a day or two. This will allow us to come back and evaluate with fresh eyes. We also get someone who has not worked on the site, to take a look as well as give some feedback. Presenting the website to the customer and look for the feedback (if there are any needs for change or adjustments). There is always something that client would like to add or remove, this is normal and expected.
